Ready to Help Students Say Goodbye to Cram Culture?!

Finals don’t have to include stress spirals and last-minute study marathons for students!

But they will — if we don't purposefully teach students what to do instead.

In this 3-week masterclass, you'll learn:

  • The science behind a holistic approach to exam prep—from cognitive load to executive function.
  • How to help students apply this science to make their very own anti-cram exam plan
  • A step-by-step system for helping students actually follow through with their plan
  • And so much more (keep scrolling down for all the juicy details)!

Perfect for academic coaches, tutors, EF/ADHD and learning specialists, and classroom teachers. Parents are also welcome! Relevant for middle school to college, and all ages in between.

We're offering this training in time to (hopefully!) make a real impact before the end of the year...for students and educators alike. And yes—replays are available if you can't come live.

 Specifically What You'll Learn:

Understand the science behind cramming—and why it doesn’t work.  Hint: cognitive overload shuts down learning, but how do you explain that to students?! We'll show you.

Save time by using study strategies rooted in the science of learning. Spaced retrieval, anyone?

Tackle executive function challenges head-on. Learn to be intentional about prioritizing, anti-boring task initiation strategies, and more.

How to teach nervous system regulation so brains are ready to learn. We’ll cover how to embed small, consistent moments of calm that help students stay focused and resilient.

Step-by-Step guidence on how to help students build their one-page “Anti-Cram Plan.”  Help students create a do-able plan one step at a time—without the panic spiral.

Adapt support for different student needs. Finally... flexible, brain-based strategies that work across neurodiversity, age, and learning profiles.

And more! You drive what we discover — Submit questions and real student scenarios to get targeted, timely support during our time together.

  Who Should Definitely Join Us:

Perfect for academic coaches, tutors, EF/ADHD and learning specialists, and classroom teachers. Parents are also welcome! Relevant for middle school to college, and all ages in between.

 Frequently Asked Questions:

1. What if I can’t attend live on April 26?

No problem at all! A full replay of the 3-hour masterclass will be sent to all registrants, along with replays of the follow-up Office Hours. You’ll still get tons of value if you treat it as a self-paced training.

 2. Will this be relevant for classroom teachers?

Yes! Especially if you're a teacher who wants to be more “coach-like” in your approach. While many tools come from 1:1 academic coaching, we’ll specifically explore how to adapt them for classroom use—and there’s a dedicated section in the handout just for teachers.

 3. What’s included in the $197 price?

Your registration includes the live masterclass, two follow-up Office Hours, a bonus community call, all session replays, a detailed workbook/handout, and a certificate for 5 hours of professional development.

 4. Is this appropriate for new or aspiring academic coaches?

Definitely. Whether you’re just getting started or already supporting students 1:1, this training will deepen your toolkit and show you how to apply brain science in real-world ways during high-stress academic moments.

 5. Will the tools support neurodivergent learners?

Yes. All strategies are designed to be flexible and brain-based—meaning they’re especially helpful for students with ADHD, autism, dyslexia, or executive function challenges. But they work great for neurotypical students too!

6. Can I register a group or bring my team?

Yes! We offer a 20% discount for teams of 4 or more. Just email us at officewiz@antiboringlearninglab.com, and we’ll get you set up with group pricing and registration support.

7. I’m already a member of the Anti-Boring Learning Lab. Do I need to pay?
Nope! This masterclass is included in your membership. Check the Learning Lab dashboard for how to join live or access replays.

 8. I work with college students, and we’re just wrapping up finals. Is this still relevant?
Absolutely. In fact, now is the perfect time to reflect on what worked—and what didn’t. This masterclass will help you build systems and tools to support finals prep all year long, so next semester your students are ready well before the crunch.

9. Do you offer official CEUs for teachers or the International Coaching Federation?
Not at this time. As a small company, it’s a bit too complex for us to register with every state and organization. However, you will receive a certificate of completion for 5 professional development hours. Many educators are able to submit this to their schools or use it for continuing ed credit. You can also post it to LinkedIn to celebrate your accomplishment—we’ll cheer you on!

10. Is this geared more toward new or experienced educators?
Both! Whether you’re just starting out as a tutor or academic coach, or you’ve been in the classroom for years, this masterclass offers a mix of practical tools, updated research, and reflective prompts to deepen your work. Newbies get a roadmap. Veterans get fresh inspiration.

11. Will this help with students who are already burned out or disengaged?
Yes. Finals season is often a time when students check out—or melt down. The strategies in this masterclass are designed to meet students where they are, reduce overwhelm, and build momentum gently and effectively.

 12. Do I need to have a background in neuroscience or executive function to benefit from this?
Not at all. We’ll break the science down into easy-to-understand frameworks and provide language you can use directly with students. No jargon, just useful tools.

13. Do you offer refunds? Because this is a digital professional development experience with immediate access to materials and replays, we don’t offer refunds. That said, we’re confident you’ll find the content valuable, and we encourage you to reach out with any questions before purchasing. Thanks for understanding—it helps us keep our small business sustainable.
