You’ve seen it before: students with good intentions slip into habits that tank their productivity, hurt their grades, and leave them discouraged.
Checklists and to-do lists can help in the short term — but they rarely create the lasting executive function support students need. Beyond Checklists is about moving past surface-level task lists to a system that helps students see the bigger picture, take ownership of their habits, and connect daily actions to real results.
The Anti-Boring Habit Tracker changes everything.
Simple to set up and use, it gives structure to your coaching sessions, turns abstract habits into concrete data, and creates the “aha” moments that spark lasting change. And it all happens in a short check-in with a carefully crafted GoogleSheet at the start of a session.
Ready to learn a system that could transform your work with students for the rest of the semester, and their relationship to habits for life?
Join us for this Anti-Boring Masterclass, where you'll learn how to:
- Use a Habit Tracking framework that works in real coaching sessions
- Ground your approach in the science of self-regulation and behavior change
- Help students visualize progress and tie habits to grades
- Guide goal-setting that actually inspires follow-through
- Communicate growth clearly with students and parents
- Collect data that helps YOU prove you're making a difference, too
This is the first time we’ve ever taught the Habit Tracker live to the general public! Usually, it’s tucked inside a module of the Anti-Boring Toolkit. But it’s consistently one of the most raved-about coaching resources among members, and worthy of being shared widely.
We're offering this training in time to (hopefully!) make a real impact on the beginning of the school year...for students and educators alike. And yes—replays are available if you can't come live.

Connect daily habits to academic outcomes — so they can clearly see how their choices impact their grades and take ownership of both.
Use the Habits & Grades Tracker as a coaching conversation tool — turning vague “try harder” advice into concrete, data-driven next steps.
Identify patterns that lead to success or struggle — and intervene early with targeted strategies before small issues become big problems.
Motivate even the most reluctant students — by giving them a simple, visual way to track their own progress and celebrate wins.
Foster honest, productive parent-coach/teacher-student communication — using tracker data to replace blame with shared problem-solving.
Hear from other coaches who’ve customized the Habit Tracker — get inspiration for adapting it to specific ages, learning profiles, and neurodiversity needs.
Integrate the tracker into different student settings — learn how to use it effectively in 1:1 coaching, small groups, or full-class instruction.
And more! You drive what we discover — Submit questions and real student scenarios to get targeted, timely support during our time together.

Perfect for academic coaches, tutors, EF/ADHD and learning specialists, and classroom teachers. Parents are also welcome! Relevant for middle school to college, and all ages in between.

1. What if I can’t attend live on August 26?
No problem at all! A full replay of the 3-hour masterclass will be sent to all registrants, along with a replays of the follow-up Community Call. You’ll still get tons of value if you treat it as a self-paced training.
2. Will this be relevant for classroom teachers?
Yes! Especially if you're a teacher who wants to be more “coach-like” in your approach. While many tools come from 1:1 academic coaching, we’ll specifically explore how to adapt them for classroom use—and there’s a dedicated section in the handout just for teachers.
3. What’s included in the $197 price?
Your registration includes the live masterclass, a follow-up community call for questions, all session replays, your own copy of the Habits & Grades Tracker to customize for your students, and, if desired, a certificate for 5 hours of professional development.
4. Is this appropriate for new or aspiring academic coaches?
Definitely. Whether you’re just getting started or already supporting students 1:1, this training and tracker will create a foundation for your coaching practice, deepen your toolkit, and show you how to apply brain science in real-world ways during high-stress academic moments.
5. Will the tools support neurodivergent learners?
Yes. All my anti-boring strategies are designed to be flexible and brain-based—meaning they’re especially helpful for students with ADHD, autism, dyslexia, or executive function challenges. But they work great for neurotypical students, too!
6. Can I register a group or bring my team?
Yes! We offer a 20% discount for teams of 4 or more. Just email us at officewiz@antiboringlearninglab.com, and we’ll get you set up with group pricing and registration support.
7. I’m already a member of the Anti-Boring Learning Lab. Do I need to pay?
Nope! This masterclass is included in your membership. Check the Learning Lab dashboard for how to join live or access replays.
8. I work with college students. Is this still relevant?
Absolutely! In fact, college students may need this even more than students in more formally structured school and home environments. This masterclass will help you give your students a tool to proactively track their progress and celebrate their wins.
9. Do you offer official CEUs for teachers or the International Coaching Federation?
Not at this time. As a small company, it’s a bit too complex for us to register with every state and organization. However, you will receive a certificate of completion for 5 professional development hours. Many educators are able to submit this to their schools or use it for continuing ed credit. You can also post it to LinkedIn to celebrate your accomplishment—we’ll cheer you on!
10. Is this geared more toward new or experienced educators?
Both! Whether you’re just starting out as a tutor or academic coach, or you’ve been in the classroom for years, this masterclass offers a mix of practical tools, updated research, and reflective prompts to deepen your work. Newbies get a roadmap. Veterans get fresh inspiration.
11. Will this work even for students who insist their grades have nothing to do with their habits? Yes! The Habits & Grades Tracker makes the connection crystal clear. When students can see their daily choices alongside their grades over time, the “aha!” moment happens naturally — no lectures required.
12. What about students who shut down the moment we talk about missing work or low grades--will this help there, too? Absolutely. The tracker shifts the focus from blame to problem-solving. Instead of feeling attacked, students engage with concrete data and can help identify small, doable changes that lead to big wins.
13. Do I need to have a background in neuroscience or executive function to benefit from this?
Not at all. We’ll break the science down into easy-to-understand frameworks and provide language you can use directly with students. No jargon, just useful tools.
14. Do you offer refunds?
Because this is a digital professional development experience with immediate access to materials and replays, we don’t offer refunds. That said, we’re confident you’ll find the content valuable, and we encourage you to reach out with any questions before purchasing. Thanks for understanding—it helps us keep our small business sustainable.
